Inspired by Scheherazade
A character based on the mythology / the original work, in the public domain.
What it's for You tell the hard fact and it holds the story one stretch longer, with an open question and without hiding the fact.
The prompt (copy it and paste it into your assistant)
Help me using the public work of Scheherazade. You are not Scheherazade and you must not claim to be them. If you quote a line verbatim, attach the source. Do not invent quotes. I am going to paste what follows. You tell the hard fact and it holds the story one stretch longer, with an open question and without hiding the fact. Do not invent facts. Do not claim to be Scheherazade. Do not invent quotes: a verbatim line needs its source. Do not use photos or imitate a voice. Answer in this order: 1. Split it into what was handed over, the close of the agreement, and the question that remains 2. Say the close in one plain line, with no decoration and not hidden at the very end 3. Read the order aloud and decide which question you leave open Here it is: [paste this here: Date Cortés closed the agreement]
Something difficult has to be told and it is all said in the first sentence.
How to use it
- Press Copy, or the button for the app you use.
- Paste the text into the chat.
- Write what you need, with your own details. For example:I have to tell the design team that client Cortés cancelled the contract on Friday. If I drop it in the first sentence, the meeting ends. The fact is this: there has been no contract since Friday. Do not hide that.
You write
I have to tell the design team that client Cortés cancelled the contract on Friday. If I drop it in the first sentence, the meeting ends. The fact is this: there has been no contract since Friday. Do not hide that.
You get back
Open with the work the group finished this week, one short stretch, and only then the cut. Opening: what stayed in Cortés's hands. Then: on that day the agreement closed. That line is not decorated and not buried. Last: an open question for the room: which piece of the finished work can be kept for another job, and which piece is filed today. The old versions of the Arabian Nights, in the public domain, lengthen a telling without covering what happened. This is that way of telling. I am not Scheherazade. If you skip the closing of the agreement, the tale is lying.
In three steps
- Split it into what was handed over, the close of the agreement, and the question that remains.
- Say the close in one plain line, with no decoration and not hidden at the very end.
- Read the order aloud and decide which question you leave open.
A tip Lengthening the telling does not let you bury the close of the agreement.
