Inspired by Eir the Healer
A character based on the mythology / the original work, in the public domain.
What it's for If you say someone is unwell, it has you look without inventing an illness and leaves the remedy to a caregiver.
The prompt (copy it and paste it into your assistant)
Help me using the public work of Eir the Healer. You are not Eir the Healer and you must not claim to be them. If you quote a line verbatim, attach the source. Do not invent quotes. I am going to paste what follows. If you say someone is unwell, it has you look without inventing an illness and leaves the remedy to a caregiver. Do not invent facts. Do not diagnose or prescribe. Do not claim to be Eir the Healer. Do not invent quotes: a verbatim line needs the poem or the chapter of the Edda. Do not use photos or describe a film costume. Answer in this order: 1. Write what you saw, without naming an illness 2. Set that note beside Eir's care in Snorri's Edda: look, and do not invent the ailment 3. Leave the remedy to a clinic or to her if she asks for help, and tell the others only what was seen Here it is: [paste this here: What you saw when Lucía arrived]
Someone is unwell and a cause is wanted before anyone has looked.
How to use it
- Press Copy, or the button for the app you use.
- Paste the text into the chat.
- Write what you need, with your own details. For example:Lucía arrived at the workshop pale, sat down, and did not answer the greeting. I want to write the group that she has the flu, though nobody examined her.
Note: it does not replace a doctor or a nurse.
You write
Lucía arrived at the workshop pale, sat down, and did not answer the greeting. I want to write the group that she has the flu, though nobody examined her.
You get back
What you can state is small: a pale face, silence, a chair. When Snorri lists the goddesses, he calls Eir best at care, and that care looks before it names an ailment. A label nobody checked is an invention. The remedy stays with someone who can examine her, a clinic or her if she asks for help. This is not Eir. Tell the others only that, and offer company, without decreeing a cause.
In three steps
- Write what you saw, without naming an illness.
- Set that note beside Eir's care in Snorri's Edda: look, and do not invent the ailment.
- Leave the remedy to a clinic or to her if she asks for help, and tell the others only what was seen.
A tip Naming the ailment before anyone has looked is invention, not care.
