Review the titles and descriptions of your pages and flag what is missing or repeated

Works with any AI

What it's for It flags what is missing, repeated, vague, or running long, and proposes the text in brackets.

What you get A list ordered by what would confuse a person opening the page, with proposals in brackets.

Example result

Review draft. No views, no clicks, and no promised position. The order is what leaves a person opening the page most in the dark. 1. Services. The meta description is missing, so a visitor does not read what the page…

The prompt (copy it and paste it into your assistant)

Help me review the titles, the meta descriptions, and the H1s (the large heading on each page) of my pages. I leave the list and you flag what is missing, what is repeated, what is vague, and what runs long. Order it starting with what would confuse a person opening the page the most. Do not use visits or clicks to sort, and do not promise a position in the search results. If I give you a character limit, use it. If I do not, do not invent a number: mark as too long the text that repeats itself or that cannot be understood in one pass. Where a fact is missing, propose the new text in brackets, for example [who this page is speaking to].

Pages: [paste each page with its title, its meta description, and its H1]

Several pages repeat the same title or go out with no description, and it is unclear which to fix first.

How to use it

  1. Copy the prompt.
  2. Paste your details into the brackets.
  3. Review the result before you use it.Home. Title: Welcome to our site. Meta description: Welcome to our site, we are a company, welcome to our site. H1: Welcome. Services. Title: Services. Meta description: empty. H1: What we do for you. Contact. Title: Contact. Meta description: Write to us. H1: Contact. I did not leave a character limit.

You write

Home. Title: Welcome to our site. Meta description: Welcome to our site, we are a company, welcome to our site. H1: Welcome. Services. Title: Services. Meta description: empty. H1: What we do for you. Contact. Title: Contact. Meta description: Write to us. H1: Contact. I did not leave a character limit.

You get back

Review draft. No views, no clicks, and no promised position. The order is what leaves a person opening the page most in the dark. 1. Services. The meta description is missing, so a visitor does not read what the page is about. Title: Services. Vague: it does not say the trade or who it is for. H1: What we do for you. It does not copy the title, and it does not name the work either. Proposal: title [trade] for [who you are speaking to]. Meta description: [what you do, in one sentence]. H1: [the same trade, said for the person who arrives]. 2. Home. The title, the description, and the large heading say almost the same thing, and the description runs long because it repeats the welcome. There is no character limit in the note, so I am not inventing a number. I mark it long because of the repetition. Vague: "we are a company" does not say what you offer. Proposal: title [what you offer]. Meta description: [one sentence with the service and who it is for]. H1: [what you offer], without repeating the welcome. 3. Contact. The title and the large heading are the same word. It weighs less: it is clear that this is where people write, but it repeats. Meta description: Write to us. Short, and it does not say what happens next. Proposal: H1 [how people write to you]. Meta description: [what you answer and in what time, only if you already have it]. If the time is not there, leave it as [reply time]. I do not promise that any page will rise in search results. This stays with you so you can correct it before anyone else sees it. I did not send it.

In three steps

  1. Separate what is missing, what is repeated, what is vague, and what runs long.
  2. Order it by what would confuse a person opening the page the most.
  3. Propose the new text in brackets where a fact is missing.

A tip With no limit in the note, do not invent a character count. Flag the repetition.
