Each Friday leave the collection draft for what is already due

This prompt helps you with this: It prepares Friday's collection text, without sending it and without a surcharge.

Needs an assistant with scheduled tasks (e.g. Grok Bot, ChatGPT Tasks)

Note: it does not replace a professional. It does not move your money or replace the person who keeps the books.

The prompt (copy it and paste it into your assistant)

Every Friday at 9:00, leave me the collection draft for invoices that are already due. If you can schedule it, create it and tell me how to test it. If not, hand the text back. One draft per invoice, with the fact that is in the note. Do not send anything, do not add a surcharge, and take out the ones in dispute. If none are overdue, write "no overdue invoices in the note". This does not replace the person who keeps your books.

Invoices: [paste the invoices and their status]

What it's for

It prepares Friday's collection text, without sending it and without a surcharge.

What you get One draft per overdue invoice, or the line that there are none.

How to use it

  1. Copy the prompt.
  2. Paste your details into the brackets.
  3. Review the result before you use it.

Example result

Invoice 20, due Monday, no dispute. Invoice 21, overdue and the customer says the order arrived incomplete.

Draft, invoice 20: still open since Monday. What date will you send the payment? Invoice 21 stays out: it is in dispute over an incomplete order. I did not send anything and I did not add a surcharge. This stays with you so you can correct it before anyone else sees it. I did not send it.

A tip The invoice in dispute does not go in Friday's collection.
